I am extremely honored to have been invited to serve as Honorary President of Leucan’s campaign in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

Supporting Leucan means supporting a clear mission: promoting the recovery and well-being of children with cancer and their families. Their vision inspires me deeply: to be at the forefront of best practices, always present so that every child can fully experience their childhood and look forward to the future.

As the father of three healthy children, I realize how fortunate we are. By committing to Leucan, I want to stand alongside families, rally our community, and contribute in a meaningful way to research and services that change lives.

That is why, in addition to proudly assuming my role as Honorary President, I am also taking part in the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge. For me, it was only natural that my words be matched with a strong, visible, and meaningful gesture. Shaving my head is an act of solidarity with the children who lose theirs during treatments. It is also a way to embody my commitment and show that I truly believe in this cause.

I have set an ambitious goal of $5,000, and I fully intend to reach it—with your help. My gesture is nothing compared to the courage of the children and families going through this ordeal, but it can become a powerful driver of mobilization. Together, let’s make a difference.

I invite the entire population of Amos, the Abitibi RCM, as well as all mayors and Survivor Québec fans to join me, to give generously, and to take part in the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge on September 6.
