I am deeply touched to have been offered the position of honorary president of the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge, presented by Proxim in Val-d’Or, which will take place on June 6. Supporting this wonderful cause is a way to promote the well-being of our little ones, contribute to their recovery, and support families during this difficult time.

Having known a young child in my circle who had leukemia, I was deeply touched by this reality. As a society, it is our duty to make a collective effort to help these children recover.

It is therefore with pride that I take on the role of honorary president and also participate in the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge. It’s a small gesture of solidarity that means a lot to the well-being of children who lose their hair during treatment.

My goal is to raise $7,000, and I firmly believe that the people of Val-d’Or will show their generosity and solidarity toward this mission.

I invite everyone in the Vallée-de-l’Or region and the veteran community to join me, either by participating in the Challenge or by making a donation on June 6, 2026.

Bringing smiles back to our little ones’ faces is the greatest gift we can give them.
