My name is Jeanne, I’m 10 years old, and I’m always ready to embark on new adventures!
In the summer of 2014, at the age of three, I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. I underwent two years of chemotherapy and suffered a great number of side effects. In spite of all of this, I went through this ordeal with great resilience.
In the fall of 2021, we will celebrate my full recovery! Now that cancer is behind me, it’s my turn to help children undergoing treatment. I appreciated all the services and activities hosted by Leucan so much during my own treatments.
This year, in addition to be the spokesperson for the Challenge in Montérégie, I’m also organizing a Challenge in my own school. I will take on the Challenge, too, and lose my hair for a second time! Although it makes me nervous, I want to raise as much money as possible to improve the chances of recovery for other children.
