My name is Elias Hernandez, I’m 5 and a half years old and I was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a pediatric cancer, on November 10th, 2019. At the time, I was just a baby, and my parents were plunged into a whirlwind of emotions and uncertainties. Fortunately, Leucan was there for us. The Association provided my parents support and comfort during the most difficult times. Thanks to Leucan, we met other families and received invaluable advice on navigating through treatments and hospitalizations. Today, I’ve been in remission for 4 years.
I’m proud to take part in the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge as a spokesperson. It’s a fundraiser that’s close to my family’s heart, because it supports families like mine throughout the illness. I invite you to join me in the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge to help other children like me.
