1st edition of The Big Recess! in support of Leucan, a family-friendly day
Because behind every gesture, there is the possibility of making a child living with cancer’s daily life a little easier.
On Sunday, May 31, 2026, the very first edition of The Big Recess! in support of Leucan will take place in Laval.
This day has been designed to bring families together, create a moment of joy and sharing, while making a concrete contribution to supporting children with cancer and their families.
When: Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Ecoparc 15, 3331 Jules-Brillant Street, Laval, Quebec, H7P 6C9

On the program: inflatable and mechanical games, entertainment, and a food area to offer everyone, young and old alike, a warm and accessible experience.
At the heart of this day is an essential mission: that of Leucan, which supports children with cancer and their families from the moment of diagnosis and throughout their journey.

A powerful highlight: the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge
At 1:00 p.m., on the event site, the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge, presented by Proxim, will take place.
Shaving one’s head is a way to take tangible action in solidarity with children undergoing cancer treatments who lose their hair.
Taking on the Challenge means supporting, encouraging, and standing with families through their disrupted daily lives.
