Hello, my name is Angélie Laflamme. At the age of 2 1/2, I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Over a period longer than 2 years, I was hospitalized several times to undergo lumbar punctures, blood transfusions, and chemotherapy. At each stay, Leucan was there to entertain me and provide moments of relaxation and support.

My normal childhood life resumed with the end of treatments, but unfortunately, several months later, tragedy struck again: my leukemia was back. In spite of all the suffering and disappointment, I have been fortunate to be supported by my twin sister Marily and my big brother Eliott.

Today, I’m continuing my battle against this terrible disease. I encourage you to follow my family’s lead and take part in the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge.

I thank you with all my heart!
