My name is Adam, I’m 11 years old, and I’m a very brave boy despite all the hardships life is throwing my way. I have Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which confined me to a wheelchair two years ago, and in December 2017, I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in my right femur.
In March 2018, my right leg was amputated to improve my chance of survival. Today, I have been in remission since the end of August 2018 and I’m doing very well.
My family and I are very grateful for the financial and moral support provided by Leucan. From the first day, Leucan was there to support and comfort us through those difficult times. That’s why we agreed to become spokespersons: to give people hope!
I will conclude by saying that you can always find some positive in the negative—Leucan is part of that positive!
